This is our review of the highly buyer rated Melitta Molino burr coffee grinder. This particular model costs just under £50, and it is the highest rated burr coffee grinder under £50, currently available on the UK marketplace.
It is super easy to use, and very easy to clean. It can do a wide range of grain thicknesses, as it has 17 different settings. We have included an image of this model just below.

A Little About the Melitta Company
Here we let you know just a little about the Melitta brand. This is a short section just to give you a little bit of information about the brand itself. They are an international and family-owned Melitta Group business who have been around for just over 100 years. They are a German brand.
They manufacture branded products for coffee enjoyment, for the storage and preparation of food, and for household cleanliness.
Key Features of the Melitta Molino Model
There are lots of different burr grinders on the UK market. I was writing an article on the top 5 burr grinders that cost less than £50. This model came out as the number one buyer rated on that list.
The brand name is very well known, and they are known for making good quality grinders. They make a number of coffee related products, and all of those get a very good name.

As you can see, this one is a stylish grinder, and it is also really very easy to use. More importantly I believe, it also produces a very consistent grind with little or no blocking during the actual grinding process.
It measures 250 mm high x 100 mm wide x 170 mm deep and has a 100 watt motor.
Amount of Beans it Can Grind
This one has a 200 gram bean capacity. That is large enough to make enough grains for about up to 14 cups of coffee.
It is also sealed and that does help keep the coffee fresh.

Fineness Selector
Many of the burr grinders on the market offer a few selections of fineness.
With this Melitta model there are 17 different grind settings. So whether you need a coarse grain for your filter coffee, or a very fine grain for your espresso machine, then this one can deliver that.

Other Features
There are a few other features worth mentioning.
Easy to Use & Clean
This grinder uses the classic push button method for grinding. You can pulse and also hold during the process. The grinder has a removable container and that makes it easy and fast to clean.
Bur Quality
This one has a conical, ceramic burr which is the better quality of burr.
Quiet
No coffee grinder is completely quiet. Buyers do say though, that this one is quieter than most.

To do that our team read many reviews, and I have then summarised those below, to save you the trouble. Overall this Melitta grinder achieved a solid 88% customer satisfaction and value for money rating.
What Buyers Liked and Didn't Like
PROS
CONS
This is in my opinion a high quality good grinder for home use. So unless you want one that grinds on an industrial scale, then this one makes good choice.
My Thoughts on the Melitta Molino Burr Coffee Grinder
It becomes really clear when reading the reviews, that this model is very high quality. It holds up to 200 grams of coffee beans, has 17 different grind settings, and uses a good quality burr to do the grinding.
It has a black plastic housing, with a red dial on front and comes fitted with a UK plug. I am not a huge fan of any plastic container, but this is used as the glass ones can break too easily.
However, if this is not the burr grinder for you, then why not check out our top 10 list of burr grinders by clicking here.
You can also check out our top 5 burr grinders under £50 by clicking here. That said, this one did come out at number one on that list.
Overall though, this Melitta Molino gets very high ratings, is certainly good value for money, is easy to use and to keep clean.
im struggling to get a fine grind on this machine, is there something i need to do to get the grind to be finer? im trying to get an esspresso grind. using a pressurised basket, im able to get a decent extraction, but with the normal basket, i cannot.
