What Online Buyers Say about this Coffee Grinder?

Overall, as we can see, the satisfaction rating is excellent. Just below we have now summarised what those same buyers had to actually say about the grinder, after they had bought and used it.

We have done that by setting it out in a table of Pros and Cons.

Pros

  • The vast majority of buyers were pleased with the quality of the grind they got
  • Almost every buyer said this model was very good value for money
  • Again, almost every buyer said they used this for grinding seeds, nuts etc and got fast results
  • Buyers said it was very easy to clean and also very easy to use

Cons

  • A few buyers said that it is advertised as a washable bowl, but instructions say damp cloth only
  • A few buyers thought it was just cheap plastic

It does become really clear when reading through the reviews, that as a general purpose grinder, this one is affordable and works really well. At 2% the complaints are very low, and the type of complaint is mainly about being not able to wash the bowl.

We have never heard of the brand, and the product itself is made in China. That has not been mentioned by any buyer, and with over 3,000 online reviews it is a big selling grinder.

Key Features

Grinding Capability

This grinder gets a very high 100% satisfaction in terms of speed and the quality of the grind. That is mainly down to having a powerful 200 watt motor and a sharp blade. The motor size is typical of all blade grinders which predominantly use a 200 watt motor.

This model can grind up to 2 ounces of coffee beans in around 20-30 seconds which again is fast. It can also be used to chop and grind beans, spices, nuts, herbs, nuts, grains from coarse to fine.

For those who like a French Press grind this model does that in about 8 seconds, and it can do a Moka pot grind in 15 seconds and it takes on average 25 seconds for espresso.

Capacity

These blade grinders are not designed to grind too many beans at any one time. They will heat up if over used and that can damage the motor. Over heating can also taste the coffee beans and not in a good way.

These models typically can grind around 2 ounces of coffee at a time. That's enough to make around 8 cups of coffee or 4 mugs of coffee. It can hold up to 60 grams of ground coffee.

Safety Feature

Most blade grinders can not be switched on until the lid is attached and closed. This helps avoid accidents from the spinning blade. This is a standard feature on any good blade grinder and this model does have that.

The manufacturer recommends that it can be used for one minute, and must then be rested for 2 minutes before being used again. Earlier we mentioned that this type of blade grinder does heat up really quickly.

The 2 minute rest allows the motor to cool down. If over used this type of blade grinder will burn out very quickly. It isn't just this model though and applies to all blade grinders.

Easy to Use

There is really no difficulty in using one of these. You put your beans in, attach the lid and then pulse the beans until you achieve the desired type of grain from coarse to fine.

There are no complicated settings on this type of grinder. The lid is transparent so you need to look in to see when the grain is ready for use.

Other Features

This grinder measures 9.3 x 11.4 x 11.2 cm and weighs 680 grams. It comes in a dark brown colour and comes with a cleaning brush.

The blade is made from food grade 304 stainless steel.

You can hide the wire away when storing as it wraps around inside the base.

Our Verdict on the UUOUU Blade Grinder

We never argue with buyer reviews and they are pretty obvious for this blade grinder.

The reality with any blade grinder is that it is this type of shape, has a motor and a blade, so not really that complex in design.

We normally advise to go with a recognised brand because you can rely on the warranty, guarantee and after services.

This model is from a brand that we do not know. However, the reviews are excellent and there are little to no complaints about this grinder. This model rates very well when compared to others and buyers are clearly well impressed.

    1. Hi Lesley, I searched for a manual online but couldn’t find one. Hopefully you got one with the product and still have it. The instructions should be in there. For most grinders make sure it is not plugged in. There are usually some screws screws underneath the unit to free the baseplate. You can then remove the blade by gripping it with a thick towel while turning the other end of motor shaft counterclockwise with a screwdriver or small pliers. It can be hard to do this.
